Kim Morrow's
Clients:
- "I
was on the verge of ending my short-lived racing career when I
decided to
give it one more year and hire the best coach I could find. Not only was I
successful in finding the best coach around, I also found a
great person
and friend. Kim's enthusiasm inspired me and kept me
motivated. Her
coaching and training plan made me stronger and more confident
. My race
results have greatly improved this year, but more importantly,
I've had
FUN, both in my training and in my racing. I can't wait to
start racing
next season and build on this year's accomplishments."

Category 2): 2004 North Carolina
Women's Road Race Champion and Master's Road Race Champion

"It's
the end of my 2002 season - I have now added a
Master's World Time Trial Championship title to my two Masters
National Time Trial Championship titles! I just have to say,
"Thanks, Coach Kim!" But, that sounds so totally inadequate.
Kim has done an awesome job coaching me these last three
years, no doubt. She has helped me in so many aspects of my
life, much beyond simply my physical training, and I will
never be able to pay her back in full.
Kim's guidance gave me a clear path to
follow to reach the results I wanted.
I wanted to be fast...and I assumed that
this meant just riding harder all the time. This worked to a
point, but then I just got tired with little improvement. In
2000 I finished 17th in the Olympic Trials/Elite Nationals
Time Trial and was 4th at the U.S. Master's Nationals Time
Trial. For the 2001 season we set some big goals that
sounded a little crazy when we put them down: To win a
Master's Nationals TT Championship and
a Top 10 finish at the Elite National TT Championships.
We reached them both...and more. And now, 2002 turned out to
be an even better season.
It
is a very intense ordeal training to try to be the best in
the world at what you do. It requires a constant balancing
act to
keep one's physical condition, family, work ...
everything in tact. You must have an almost obsessive focus
on your goals, yet never forget that when the awards
ceremony is over, the most important thing is to go home to
a family you have taken good care of and that loves you. Kim
has helped me keep it all in check. I will say, "thanks"
again, but now hopefully it is more clear what I mean!"

I have known Kim for quite some time and decided to seek
her coaching advice this year after an extended break from racing.
It's been six years. I'm older. But, with Kim's advice and
inspiration, I am seeing that I am still able to compete at a
high level! To my surprise, in this year's 2001 Hotter
n' Hell Stage race, I got a 2nd place stage finish, a 4th
place finish overall and won several hot spot sprints. Kim
just has a way of helping you find the enthusiasm that your
spirit needs to take your body to the next level."

"It has been a great
experience having Kim as my coach this season. Not only was
the coaching enjoyable, but my training time was truly
maximized...despite my busy schedule. Kim helped me prepare
well and compete with confidence in my first Master's National
Cycling Championships."
